QuikTrak General Market Update.

QTK is in my long term portfolio. The share price is currently hovering around the 13 cent mark,I purchased these at 10 cps which calculates out at a 23% profit if I sold today.

I have held QTK previously but I got out as they were starting to slide backwards a bit. I was quite happy to buy them back when they reached the 10cents mark. I still feel their future prospects are good but they are definitely a long term proposition.

The Board of Directors of QuikTrak Networks Ltd (ASX:QTK) is pleased to submit for the March 2007 Quarter, with a general market update.

Highlights of the March Quarter Report include:

• Reduction in net operating cash outflow by 80 % on December
Quarter, to $ 120,000

• Investment in overseas networks increased by $ 1.1 million with the manufacture of the core networks for Johannesburg and Capetown nearing completion, bringing the total investment in network infrastructure for the current year to over $ 4.5 million.

•Announcement of Share Purchase Plan fully underwritten by Bell
Potter Securities

In response to a number of enquiries by interested shareholders of the company regarding
its Australian and overseas operations, the Directors of QuikTrak are pleased to provide
the following update.

AUSTRALIAN OPERATIONS.
The past three months have been exciting with the completion of the design, manufacture
and supply of QuikTrak’s next generation modem. This has enabled the company to re-enter the market, and for the first time to enter the home/office security monitoring market.

The development of this modem has also enabled the company to expand its product
range to include the release of

• SAS Wireless Monitored Security System for homes/offices
• BikeWatch
• PlantWatch
• Sitewatch
• BoatWatch
• ATMWatch

Due to the largely fixed cost nature of the company’s operations, increases in sales
revenue have a positive impact on profit performance.

OVERSEAS EXPANSION

BEIJING

In late November 2006 QuikTrak successfully deployed the core network for its third
generation security network in Beijing and was able to commission this network for
China Alarm to commence final trialing and seek commercial licenses needed to import
QuikTrak’s transponder and commence commercial operations.

It was anticipated that supply of the ordered transponders would commence shortly
thereafter but delays have been experienced in clearing the frequency of other users to
enable China Alarm to complete all regulatory approvals and commence operations.

While these delays are disappointing, there has been no change to the agreement between
QuikTrak and China Alarm Holdings and QuikTrak continues to work with China
Alarm management to commence operations as quickly as possible.

SOUTH AFRICA

In November 2006 QuikTrak successfully applied for a nationwide frequency allocation
within South Africa to facilitate the establishment of trial networks in Johannesburg and
Capetown with a view to expanding this network throughout the country.

Subsequent to this allocation QuikTrak executed a Letter of Intent with a leading South
African security provider to fast track the rollout and commercialization of the QuikTrak
DSSS network within South Africa.

This security provider wishes to utilize the enhanced security telecommunications
platform provided by the QuikTrak 3G DSSS Network in South Africa for its current
and future customers and to enable the parties to jointly enter the lucrative vehicle and
personal mobile security monitoring, location and tracking market.

Relative to the size of its economy, South Africa has the largest security industry in the world. The South African security market holds strong growth potential for QuikTrak.
There are currently over seven hundred and fifty thousand monitored home/office alarms
and one million monitored car security systems deployed in South Africa ¬ largely driven
by insurance requirements ¬ making it one of the world’s most mature security markets.

Manufacture of the infrastructure for the core networks has been completed and will be
delivered into Johannesburg in May 2007 ready for deployment. We look forward to
updating shareholders on the commencement of the business operations in South Africa.
